How to verify your identity

Step-by-step instructions

1. Click on the orange button to open up the identity verification software, Persona.

2. Select 'Get started' or 'Continue on another device'.

   • 'Get started' will take you through the identity verification process on the device you are currently using.

   • 'Continue on another device' will present you with options to go through the set up process on another device.

   • Ownright recommendation: we recommend going through the identity verification process on your smart phone as it does the best job of getting a good picture of your ID.

3. Both options will prompt you to take a live picture of yourself and a valid form of ID.

   • Persona will verify that it is a valid ID and that your live picture matches the picture on the ID provided.

4. Complete the ID verification process via Persona and submit to Ownright for review.
