Step-by-step guide

  1. Click on the orange button to begin answering questions.

  2. Select where you would like the sale proceeds to be sent. The options are:

    • Joint Account: select this option when you want the sale proceeds to be directed to a single account that is jointly held by two or more people.

    • Separate Accounts: select this option when you want the sale proceeds to be sent to multiple accounts.

      • When you select this option you will need to indicate if you would like the proceeds to be evenly split between the accounts or if you want a custom split.

    • One Non-Joint Account:select this option when you want the sale proceeds to be sent to one account that is not jointly held.

      • Note that if there are other people participating in this transaction, they will be required to confirm that the non-joint account is where sale proceeds should be directed.

  3. Once you have selected where you would like the proceeds to be sent (and the split of the proceeds in the event of multiple accounts), you will need to upload a void cheque or direct deposit form.

    • To upload a document, drag the file into the grey box OR click on the grey box to select a file from your device.

  4. Once you have answered all questions, click ‘Confirm and complete task’ to officially complete the task.
